Matt McCarthy is the CEO of Progress Therapeutics and a distinguished leader in the pharmaceutical industry, with over 25 years of experience in the field. Since founding Progress Therapeutics in 2012, Matt has propelled the company to become a leading Canadian importer of record for Health Canada regulated products. As the driving force behind the company's strategic development, he not only oversees daily operations but also champions regulatory compliance, instilling a culture of excellence. Previously, Matt worked for 15 years at McCarthy Consultant Services, where he managed a team of experts dedicated to quality assurance and regulatory work. With an MBA in International Business from the University of Toronto and an EMBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, Matt brings a comprehensive understanding of business and healthcare, positioning him as a transformative leader, helping to shape the future of the pharmaceutical landscape.

Progress Therapeutics holds a Drug Establishment License (DEL) for the importation of both prescription and OTC pharmaceuticals, a Site License (SL) for the importation of natural health products, and a Medical Device Establishment License (MDEL) for the importation of medical devices. This means our clients can focus on their core business without the burden and cost of maintaining an Establishment Licence, a brick and mortar operation in Canada and navigating constantly changing Establishmnet Licence requirements.
